Chatting over Alan Garner novels at Boskone, Lisa gave me an idea when she stated the premise of the the Owl Service.

Remember the Buffy "gun" episode, "I Only Have Eyes for You?" Pretty cool episode, right?

You know what would have made it Even Cooler? If rather than being one echo, the events depicted were the end of a chain of echos going back to the Bloodwued/Llew story. Now -that- would have been cool.

I'm pretty sure I didn't notice you at all. Could have looked, of course; it didn't occur to me that the last time I saw you, it was on Arisia's Dealer's row.

I didn't spend a lot of time in the dealer's room, really. A bit following Lisa around while she shopped (and, yeah, talking to Ed and Arwen -- the Dragonship Haven booth, more or less; I'm asusming I was talking to them, since that's the only long convo I remember in the dealer's room); after that I was busy, or wanting to be more busy in the gaming room (gaming at a con can be a lot of fun, a desert, or a nursery. It was more or less the latter this year, partially because it was right against the kid's area. Still fun, and I got a good game of Mao in, but much of the time, there was the ever-running Apples to Apples 'game', a Munchkin game, some kids in the back playing video games, and nothing else.
