Over "walking 2 miles, 'cause it's fun" to Times Square, Lisa and I came up with the following parody concept:

Duffy the Human Slayer. Duffy, a gay vampire, is a fabled hero, appointed to deal with threats to the peaceful vampire community, as he attends night school. As well as his friends, his help included his blond, cute boyfriend, a human who only appears in the mysterious hours near the dawn, and warns of evil priests trying to bring about the Rapture.

Vampires are aliens, y'see. Yes, er, aliens from, um, some other planet -- didn't some sciffy writer do something on that theme, wrote a lot of highbrow books? Well, all that's way too complicated, so we're just keeping the vampire aliens.

And, if you think it'll play, they can take off their clothes, so it'll be naked aliens.
