I had somone stick a tube down my throat again today. Fortunately, they
didn't encounter nearly as much difficulty as last time, so neither did
I. But they did take photos -- so I'm giving them to you all. Aren't I
nice? :) The one on the left is "before", the two on the right are
"after".

Also, I think someone needs to invent a drink called a "squeaky nail".
That way, you can get both greased and hammered at the same time.

A schotsky ring -- a band of inflamation that narrows the aesophagus (visible, in the perceptable narrowing of the first picture compared to the others). When it gets bad (it didn't, this time) it can get annoying (you've actually been at meals where I had something get caught -- but I try to be discreet).

In theory, taking protien inhibitors will prevent it from coming back. In practice, I've been bad about this, though I was better last time (see my journal, some time 'round spring/early summer '04) until United decided my medicine wasn't covered any more.
