Date: 2018-10-27 02:54 pm (UTC)The first memory that jumps to my mind were the various copies of Off Centaur recordings Harold was giving me for a while every time I sang my filk version of "The Other Shore" (with the line "we'll find Off Centaur recordings from 1984").
This is also a good, if sobering, reminder for all of us here in the Northeast to write Hall of Fame nominations for the stalwarts of our community. Harold regularly insisted he would never get inducted despite (IMHO) his being a perfect example of an inductee. If we got him in I think we'd all be laughing through our tears.
