Just made my best batch of limeade yet -- recepe was 7 limes worth of juice to 12 cups of water to 2 cups of sugar.

This is much less lime-heavy than my lemonade (usually a straight 1/6/1 ratio) is lemon-heavy, but I guess limes have a stonger flavor.

They do. It's odd how people think of lemons as the epitome of sourness; limes are much sourer.

Yep. Plus they have a lot more of their own (non-sour) flavor, so diluting them more allows that favor to show through the sourness.
