Getting to LA the hard way
A tip: When you're flying on an airline that only makes one run in the direction you're going per day, try not to miss your plane.
If you do, try to be aware that they only make one run per day, so you can take appropriate action.
If you fail to perform the above, prioritize picking up your now very confused luggage above most other factors.
Summary:
nrivkis and I are, a day late, quite a lot of money poorer, and shy of my luggage (which will be arriving in LAX tomorrow) at Conchord in LA. I have several changes of clothes, my phone is charged, and know more or less where my luggage is, which is a far sight better than I was yesterday or even earlier today.
I'll pick up my luggage on the way back.

Sorry about your plane troubles.
I don't suppose you remember what it was you did to our router?
We had to reset it and it forgot all the settings.
If you can call gwen on +44 20 8691 5069 we will be eternally grateful - and call you right back to save your phone bill.
Joe (and gwen who is offline)

I can call and give advice, but the primary thing I did involved putting in the correct setting for one entry that is normally autoconfigured (incorrectly, in this case), that setting having come from the tech support guy at the phone company.
Unless someone wrote down what that setting was supposed to be, it kinda needs to get retrieved again.
