Alas, Dreamation, which had heretofore been on the third weekend of February, seems to have moved back a week to the 2nd weekend. We'd previously therefore had the uncomfortable sequence of Dreamation/Boskone/Intercon -- which usually resulted in us skipping one of Dreamation and Boskone if we were running a game in Intercon so we could prep, but being able to do all of the above in an exhausting 4 con/4 weekend stretch (Conflikt is usually somewhere around then too) if we weren't. But with Dreamation moving, for now, onto Boskone's weekend, that leaves us having to choose well in advance whether we're doing a local-ish gaming con (of the three local-ish gaming cons we do most years) or a regional SF con (of the 3 to something regional SF cons we do most years, plus filking cons which have much of the same vibe).
