Yep. It was incredibly -different- from the other feedback session with Nicole (I think her name is Nicole? I think this is the first lesson or anything I've taken from her), where she focused on posture and tone, but they were both really useful.

The thing with Flouer's session is that usually, when the lead misjudges the follow, the follow will adjust a bit to make things work, both because on a crowded dance floor, you don't want to crash into anyone, as well as because it keeps things going. By not doing so, however, she was able to give me a very visceral idea of where my dance-perceptions were off and how I needed to adjust my expectations to make things work.
