So that's what it is...

After -another- visit to the emergency room and further diagnosis from the first one, it's been determined that Lisa has a small kindney stone working its way out of her body.

Not dangerous -- but painful and scary.

So armed with ibuproten and lots of water, we're at Origins!

Oh, those are awful. Not dangerous, as you say, but certainly not pleasant either.

Best wishes for getting through this unscathed.

I hope that it passes quickly and as painlessly as possible!

I hope you have a good time at the con, despite everything.

Ouch! At least we know what knocked her for a loop @ Contata.

Have fun @ Origins.

Ouch!! At least it is something she can live through - not easily, but it is doable. May it pass quickly.
*hugs*

I once had one of those. Very painful. Best wishes to her.

Ouch!

Hang in there! I hope she feels better soon.

Glad to hear that it was nothing really serious, although kidney stones are not so much dangerous, as they are unpleasant to have to deal with.

I trust that Origins is going well, and that you'll post up reports on the con as you get the chance and all.
