ASiS is actually quite short -- I reread it (it's also the first Holmes story, so a good place to start) on the net, reading out of the Gutenberg. (My previous acquaintence with the Doyle Holmes stories was as far as I know, complete, but also 20 years old). It's quite worth reading and easy to find, though I'll warn that the Gutenberg version, having been taken from out of copyright sources, has an unrelated story between the climax and the story's resolution, without warning or explaination. So reader, beware.
