Discover declared my Mom dead too. And it took us 6 years to sort out the fact that they sent out cards after we moved to England and closed the account...they did not, in fact, close the account and that made someone very happy.

We will be so happy when enough time has passed that it drops off my parents' credit report; every time they want to buy a house or get a loan the flag pops up and we have to go through the process all over again. (It never seems to quite get fixed in the file.)

So I wish you all the best of luck - preferably all the good luck we didn't have with Discover! Someone ought to get it! *grin*
