Dol-drums

I'd bet anything that if they didn't untie the bag that they didn't recognize the drum as a drum, or didn't realize that it didn't have contents hidden inside it. I've heard stories about airline people not having any idea what a music stand was, for example. All of which is not to say of course that they owe you some recompense for it.
